I am an Infrastructure Software Engineer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a strong background in managing complex server environments and cloud infrastructure. My expertise lies in ensuring high availability, automating operational tasks, and optimizing cloud costs.

Currently at Chaldal Limited, the largest online grocery service in Bangladesh, I manage a hybrid infrastructure spanning multiple data centers and Azure cloud resources. I'm passionate about building resilient systems using Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.

Infrastructure Maintenance
  • Managed 40+ mixed Windows and Linux servers across 4 data centers, achieving >99.9% availability.
  • Maintained networking across 4 data centers, 2 offices, and 22 warehouses.
  • Upgraded DB server storage with RAID to improve IOPS and fault tolerance.
  • Installed/configured a gateway switch to create a redundant gateway path.
Application Deployment
  • Designed and operated production Kubernetes clusters across multiple data centers running 50+ microservices.
  • Automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps integrating container build, registry publishing, and Kubernetes deployments with zero-downtime rollouts.
  • Managed Kubernetes networking, TLS certificates, secrets, and service exposure through Ingress and internal routing.
  • Troubleshot complex production issues involving cluster networking, API connectivity, and pod lifecycle failures.
Cloud Infrastructure (Azure)
  • Managed Azure cloud resources including Virtual Machines, networking, and storage supporting production workloads.
  • Automated infrastructure and operational tasks using Azure CLI, Service Principals, and Azure DevOps pipelines.

Database Maintenance
  • Configured a 4-replica SQL Server Availability Group for continuous service.
  • Implemented automated onsite backups (20+ DBs) with a 99.9% success rate and encrypted offsite copies in Azure, reducing RPO to <15 min.
  • Deployed air-gapped backups on isolated servers, ensuring extra security.
  • Reduced backup storage by 50% via automated cleanup and a custom backup cleaner.
Identity & Directory Services
  • Set up on-prem AD → Azure AD (Entra ID) synchronization.
  • Deployed an offsite Read-Only Domain Controller (RODC) to improve security and local authentication.
  • Integrated 160+ workstations for seamless domain access, automated software installs via GPOs.
Monitoring & Logging
  • Deployed a self-hosted Checkmk stack for hosts, apps, database backups, networks, and hardware.
  • Set up Azure Application Insights and Log Analytics, configured 20+ alerts for cost spikes and app issues.
  • Integrated SQL Server logs with Azure Arc for centralized monitoring.
Automation and Documentation
  • Authored 30+ PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripts to automate patching, backup rotation, and certificate renewal, cutting repetitive workload by 30%.
